Wee Stoatir is a little sandstone cottage, heritage listed and located in Tasmania’s finest Georgian village, Ross. Wee Stoatir was built in about 1850 and has been uniquely restored to the highest quality with original and period features.

Wander past the limed washed walls, down the hallway and into the living area. A large fireplace and warm, cosy furnishings greet you. Enjoy the softly aged feeling of the old world. You have the whole cottage to yourself.
Much of the original joinery and polished floors in this cottage has been returned. Three double bedrooms, each with electric heating. A period style bathroom. An elegant dining room adjoins a modern kitchen. This kitchen and a laundry with washing machine, dryer and second toilet ensure a blend of convenience with old world charm.

“Stoatir” is a Scottish word used to describe something which is fabulous or stunning. Hence the name of this beautiful cottage.
