Our country retreat is located on a picturesque setting of 15 acres in Barringo Valley, about 60 kms north of Melbourne, at the foothills of Mt. Macedon, close to airports. There is a private heated spa and undercover outdoor area. We have a king and double room both with large plasma tv's and kitchenette.

The retreat is a contemporary styled self-contained studio/apartment which is part of the main residence but offers complete privacy. We have two bedrooms, one with a king sized bed, the other has a double bed. Both rooms have large plasma tv's. There is a modern spacious bathroom. It also has a kitchenette with tea/coffee making facilities, toaster, microwave and an undercover BBQ. Outside, guests have full use of a 6 seater spa with its own outdoor area including a patio heater or brazier.

A fully cooked breakfast is included. There is a large fully enclosed dog run with kennel.

Nearby towns include Gisborne which has a great Sunday market, small cafes and boutique shops. Woodend and Kyneton have the same as well as fantastic restaurants and hotels. Piper Street is renowned for its cuisine and galleries. Hanging Rock and Mount Macedon Memorial Park are both very popular. We have golf deals with Gisborne, Eynesbury and Trentham Golf Courses each of them different. Gisborne has an abundance of kangaroos, Eynesbury is a challenging links course and Trentham is a short but very pretty course with numerous beautiful trees. Just bushwalking around locally is an enjoyable experience with hidden treasures everywhere. An hours road trip passed Trentham Falls to Daylesford and Daylesford Lakehouse and mineral springs is a great days outing. There are numerous local wineries to visit.
